Roy was active in all the clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest.  He especially
helped The BCSME Club by suppling motive power on many weekends.  Roy
also manufactured the two steel bridges now in use at BCSME in Burnaby, B.C.

Roy Hargrove was the type of man who'd stop everything to give a family or
children a ride on his "Cascade Pacific Railroad"

He loved to build his own rolling stock and helped others build theirs too.  Roy had
helped me build both my Rock Island Caboose &  E.J.&E. flat car.
He is a man  who the Live Steam hobby has surely missed!
